Cash Runway Charts: Assumptions Regional Firms Actually Use
Generic runway graphics assume smooth revenue. We document the seasonal and receivables patterns common to Gyeongsang manufacturers and distributors.
Cash runway is only as honest as the assumptions printed beside it. For regional enterprises with long receivables cycles, a single average burn rate line misleads credit committees.
We split runway into three bands: payroll-critical weeks, supplier-payment windows, and discretionary capex periods. Each band uses a different burn rate derived from the client’s prior-year weekly outflows, not industry averages.
Seasonal revenue is marked with engraved-style tick marks along the timeline—Lunar New Year slowdown, summer construction peaks, year-end bonus payouts. These markers come from interviews with the client’s treasury contact, not from public holiday calendars alone.
The folio ends with a one-page assumption table signed off by the client’s finance director. That signature line has prevented more argument in bank meetings than any animation ever could.
